Packer is proud to present the M992PK1, a celebration of New Balance's Made in USA craftsmanship and all those who get their hands dirty to make the world a more beautiful place.
To bring that idea to life, we’re highlighting Michael C. Thorpe, a Boston-bred artist now working out of Queens, who has carved a unique lane in the art world through his intricate quilted visions which have been featured in solo exhibitions and shown in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
Michael embodies the idea that it’s not just about the finished piece of art, but all the sweat and toil that goes into making it a reality. The M992PK1 aims to balance those two aesthetics in harmony, built on the belief that the process can be as exquisite as the fruits of that labor.
The shoe is classic New Balance to its core, utilizing staple materials like rich suede, mesh underlays, reflective silver 3M and grey pebble accents to give the 992 a fresh new look, while still maintaining some of the timeless familiarity NB is so well known for.
Available 11am EST Saturday, September 12th, only at ($240, size 5-13).
