Nike’s beloved 2001 shape of the Air Force 1 gets a suede-covered edition dedicated to the Subway Rat. Hairy grey suede covers the upper in a college grey/pink glaze combination that has New York-centric detailing like a chewed pizza slice on the footbeds, a Nike NYC logo on the back of the tongue, and even a Nike MetroCard-inspired hang tag. A pink heel strip and pink outsole add some contrast to a shoe that pays homage to an unlikely NYC staple—the subway rat.
