When the Air Jordan 5 Retro Grape released in 1990 as a unique non game-worn colorway for Jordan, it was pure pandemonium. Similar frenzied crowds lined up for the 2006 and 2013 releases. With the 30 year anniversary of the model hitting, an "Alternate Grape" edition dresses the model in grape ice suede with black on the 3M tongue, midsole, liner, and embroidered Jumpman logo.
