NEW BALANCE ML2002R1 "SALEHE BEMBURY" ($150)
The latest New Balance collaboration looks to the Antelope Canyons in Arizona for inspiration. Salehe Bembury, of Versace footwear fame, lends design cues to the 200R silhouette with hairy orange suede and maroon leather across the upper and tufted suede to resemble clouds on the N logo. The midsole, taken from the 860v2, adds NERGY cushioning and speckled orange flecks. Salehe's name appears on a tongue logo and on the cork footbed to cement this collaborative model that draws from a unique American landscape.
