Francois Salomon founded his company in the French Alps in 1947. The Salomon brand looks to bring technical innovation to outdoor models, and the XT series demonstrates that ethos. Three colorways of the XT-6 ADV, a model with superior traction and a quick-grab lacing system, hit the shelves in unique colorways ranging from grey and blue, to white and racing red, to white and sand. The XT Wings 2 ADV offers a mesh synthetic upper with a muted metallic and black colorway, while the XT-4 Advanced uses a white TPU film overlay atop a multi-colored abrasion-resistant mesh with a Contagrip outsole. Lastly, the XT Quest ADV uses a 4D advanced chassis, a synthetic ripstop upper, and a Contragrip outsole in a model that mixes khaki and tan tones.
