Honoring the Jacquard weave that began in the French city of Lyon, the Adidas Originals ZX 5000 "Vieux Lyon" gets the "V" slot in the A-ZX series. Adopting the tonal woven pattern, grey hits lower portions of the shoe, while purple hits the area below the Three Stripes branding and the tongue. French details include the phrase “La Marque Aux 3 Bandes" on the sockliner (a French translation of "The Brand with Three Stripes") and a French flag on the the heel cushion on the outsole.
