Converse teams up with NYC-based Barriers on the chuck 70 Hi and Pro Leather, drawing inspiration from the North Star, a 19th-century anti-slavery newspaper led by influential abolitionists. The brown suede Pro Leather has a sherpa Chevron star logo and Barriers logo embroidered on the lateral panels, while the Chuck 70 Hi has a black canvas upper with a "True Power Comes from within" embroidery on the right lateral panel, and "Wisdom Courage Vision" embroidery on the left sneaker. Each has a shell lace dubrae and a special Barriers tongue tag.
