NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE "EGGPLANT"

Steeped in sneaker history as a 1997 disruptive hoops shoe that was Nike's most expensive model at the time, the Nike Air Foamposite One returns in its popular Eggplant colorway from 2009. Eric Avar's original design utilized a revolutionary molded upper with a metallic finish that sat over a revamped full-length Air unit, and an early version of the model caught the attention of Penny Hardaway, who adopted the Foamposite as his signature model. The One Cent Penny logo is found on the heel of this 2024 release, as are the original specs like the carbon fiber mid-foot plate and icy rubber outsole.
