Y-3 KAIWA & SHIKU RUN ($350-$400)
Yohji Yamamoto's Y-3 and adidas team up again for two lifestyle models, the Kaiwa and Shiku Run, each showcasing the designer's whimsical design notes with contemporary lines and innovative features. The Shiku Run opts for layered mesh, suede, and neoprene on the upper that sits on a double-stacked grey and white midsole. Full leather lining and an elastic cord lacing system round out the features on the Shiku Run. As a staple in their collaborations, the Kaiwa is a sleek runner with black leather and neoprene on the upper, along with a white leather heel tab with a debossed Y-3 logo. The midsole has large black foam pods that sit above the white midsole and a light rubber outsole.
